That entire building was sinking. They decided to lift the whole thing – in sections, not all in one go – and reinforced the bottom. Unbelievable.
I have been there
That building is the closest thing we have to the Tardis. From outside it doesn’t look so big, then you walk in and try to cross from one side to the other and it takes you about 45 minutes.
Spent an hour in here trying to find an exit, place is the 9th level of hell.
I really enjoy your Photos since a few Weeks!
Chapeau
So many hours of quiet contemplation right here.
For a moment, I thought this was a screenshot from MSR/PGR.
I got lost here… twice. Lol
Wait. I’ve taken trains to/from that station many times and I do not recognize the outside at ALL. How could I have not noticed a building in the middle of Tokyo that looks like this?! So weird. I feel like I’ve literally never seen the place before
Such a beautiful atrium.
Anybody know what’s on the second and third floors?
I flew in to japan for the first time and arrived here probably midnight maybe even closer to 1 in the morning… I was so confused when I stepped outside and saw this building as the first thing I saw of japan.
