Hey everyone! Im thinking of travelling to Okayama from Osaka this fall.
Looking to catch autumn foliage in the okutsukei valley and maybe even tottori area.
What’s the best way to travel around the area? Is renting a car advisable?
Also.. any good ryokan recs in the area to tie up nicely with the autumn foliage viewing activities with some nice onsen?

You would probably want to rent a car to get to Okutsu and drive around the picturesque part of the area. That said, honestly, I would probably rent a car in either Kurayoshi and Tsuyama, because there is no real point in driving it from Osaka (unless you have some other locations you’d like to hit).
