The battery in my much loved Nook simpletouch ereader has finally died. I ordered a replacement battery from Amazon Japan, but it came from a Chinese seller and died after a only a few weeks. All the available replacement batteries on Ebay or Amazon appear to be similar in that they are either unavailable for shipment to Japan, or are only advertised by Chinese sellers and are pretty much fake.
There’s nothing wrong with the old unit and I’m not particularly wealthy at the moment so I’d hate to discard it unless I have to….. thoughts or suggestions welcome…:-)
