I got mine from Nitori! I also use them with my projector for movie nights
nitori has 遮光カーテン that you can go check out. The curtains have different shading levels if I remember correctly graded from 1 to 10. 1 being useless and 10 being Guantanamo bay
Shako 1-kyu is the heaviest and blocks all lights. Measured the window size and ordered mine at tokyu hands. Sealant tapes for the bottom of the interior door helps as well.
These are ugly as sin, but one side is a black plasticky material that just blocks all light and traps heat. Cheap too
I use paper blackouts, but still use blackout curtains. There will always be some light, but I get almost all of it. It also helps with the rooms overheating.
The paper blackouts will lose some of its blackout over time, but they are cheap.
Nitori’s ones work pretty damn well.
What I want to know is, how the hell do you stop light from coming in around the *edges* of the (in my case) curtains?
Chalk up another vote for Nitori. Bought all our curtains from them.
