This is just a monthly sale. Not like prime day or black friday.
Got a Le Creuset for $120 cheaper than in the US. Good for a lifetime now!
Install the Keepa app/browser extension. It shows a price history of amazon products. You’ll see the majority of these “sale” items are perpetually on sale or they are always below the “regular” price that is shown (so you’re not actually saving as much as it appears).
Also [kakaku.com](https://kakaku.com) is a good place to check prices across websites. Sometimes places like Yodobashi have better deals than Amazon, and they do free next day shipping too (at least to metro areas).
Edit to mention: The Keepa app also has a price tracking/alerts system where you can get an email or message if the price drops below a certain amount. I have a bunch of these set up for items I want but don’t necessarily need right now, or consumables that are handy to keep in stock/I’ll eventually use.
