Notes – family trip, could fit in some non-child things but as much avoided as possible is good
What we like – food, culture and some scenery. Mostly food though.
I’m wondering if I’m trying to fit too much in some days and not enough others. Are there some things we’ve missed, some things not needed?
10 December – Day 1: Arrive in Tokyo, explore the local area (hotel is in Koto area)
Day 2: Meiji Shrine, Shinjuku Gyoen, Shinjuku
Day 3: Ghibli Museum, Shibuya
Day 4: Roppongi Hills, Ginza, Akhihabara?
Day 5: DisneySea/Disneyland, TeamLab borderless
Day 6: Tokyo Skytree +unsure
Day 7 (17th): Travel to Osaka early, explore northern osaka (Expocity)
Day 8: visit Shinsaibashi, Americamura and Dotonbori
Day 9: Day trip to Kyoto (Hanami-Koji, Gion Shirikawa)
Day 10: Umeda Sky building, Osaka Castle, Shinsekai
Looking to fit Abeno Harukas and Universal Studios in somewhere
Day 11 (21): Early morning shinkansen to Tokyo to catch plane to Sapporo, visit Moerenuma park
Day 12: visit Shiroikoibito park, and go further to Otaru
Day 13: visit Mt moiwa, Odori park and then susukino
Day 14: go to Sapporo Teine Ski Resort (Dependent on weather, can switch around day), visit christmas markets
Day 15 (25th): fly to tokyo
Day 16 (26th): had to add this because of limited flights and the flight changing – just last minute shopping in Tokyo
Attraction, food and travel(excluding plane) budget: $5000 (reasonable or not?)
Other attractions to try and fit in: Shinokubo K town

Two Disney park and teamlab in a single day is quite crazy if you ask me.
It also make no sense to take the train to Tokyo just to fly to Sapporo, just fly direct to Sapporo from Osaka.
Also I think TeamLab Borderless is closed. I think TeamLab Planets should be open but from what I hear can be difficult with kids due to the water feature. Should be awesome though!
