I got the ring and diamond from Blue Nile – much better value than anything you will get retail in Japan.
We got our rings at Xenovia. Nothing fancy or expensive but that’s what we were looking for. We went to several places and the clerks at Xenovia were the only ones that seemed to listen and not upsell or try to steer us towards something we said we didn’t want.

Do lots of research on what makes a diamond a decent diamond. No name companies will try to sell you on the carats, but thats’s only a part of the equation.
