What is the grammar / conjugation rule for below sentences? Have included the Google translations as well. When I try to look up for the actual grammar point, could not find more info online.
可愛いくいたい I want to be cute.
好きでいたい I want to like it.
It seems to make use of the 〜くて and 〜で conjugations for connecting adjectives (although just く and not くて), and いたい looks like it means to want to based on the sentences, but am I understanding it correctly? If so, how does this differ from く／になる?

可愛いくいたい – should be 可愛くいたい: 可愛く(adverb)+いたい(want to be: いる+たい-conjugation)
好きでいたい: 好き+でいたい(でいる+たい-conjugation)
Wouldn’t be more logical to use なる instead of いる as like to **become** cute? (I.e. 可愛くなりたい)
