Does anyone here who is not a native speaker work at or have worked at an Izakaya? I may be getting a position at one soon.

For context, my Japanese is probably a little bit above N2. I’ve never worked in the food industry so I’ll not sure how it works in my home country either. I’d love some perspective.

  1. Are you kitchen or hall? Or both?
    They are two different worlds. I did both exclusively and at the same time in the past.
