Find it funny that in uni here English course students are fine with just English but Japanese course students have to know BOTH haha. At least they don’t have to produce anything in English though, unless they’re a Ph.D publishing papers
A story.
We live next to my wife’s brother’s family and share a big yard. Once in a blue moon the Amazon delivery man will mix up the houses and drop the package off at the wrong place. Last week happened to be one of those times, a rather unfortunate time too.
I made a big order of items I’ve been meaning to get and it got split up into 2 deliveries. The first one arrived at their doorstep and for some reason their 3.5 year old son thought the package was a present for him, took it inside, opened it up, and then ran up to his mother to ask what the contents were.
In one hand he had a box of Anpanman bandaids, in the other, a big box with an elephant graphic labeled MEGA BIG BOY XL condoms.
So yeah, it was a little awkward when they explained what happened and brought the package to us, taped up.
What are some good day trips or one night stays around Tokyo? Don’t have access to a car.
Toddler has suddenly been on a food strike for the past week. Whats worse is that she will play with the food and utensils and have a screaming fit when any of us even try to feed her. This applies to even the food she’s always enjoyed eating.
Any of you been through this? What did you do about it?
If they’re going to go through with this state funeral stuff they should at least give people a day off, am I right?
