15 Day Itinerary (March 10-25)

Hi! Long time lurker, two other friends and I have bought tickets for mid-late March 2023. The plans look pretty sparse at the moment since I wasn’t sure if this schedule was even feasible, but we’re all in our 20s and looking to hit the major cities and some off the beaten path ones. Trying to follow the beginnings of the cherry blossoms.

A couple questions:
* Is it worth getting a JR Pass with this itinerary?
* Is this itinerary feasible?
* Are there any cities/towns we should hit instead of what we currently have?

  1. You realize that to visit Todai-ji (and Nara Park), Horyu-Thorji and Mt. Yoshino – you’d typically need 3 days. Also: that early there is no point to visit Mt. Yoshino, since cherries won’t even start to develop blossoms.
