As the title says, I want to clean my toilet walls but I am not sure what kind of cleaner is best suited for these kinds of walls cause I am afraid I might damage them.

  1. You can’t.

I mean, you can get it close to clean, but the harder you scrub it, the more likely you’ll damage the wallpaper.

That cheap shit isn’t built to last. It’s designed to be stripped off and replaced in rentals every 5 or so years.

  2. this kind of wall is all over my apartment. I used vinegar (strong) and baking soda.. doesn’t really help but lightens all the dirt around.

  3. Don’t worry OP, usually if the owner is an agency (not private owner) wallpaper are almost okay to be replaced. At least from my previous experience. I tried to replace some and at the end they told me wallpaper wear and tear are ‘okay’ and I didn’t pay for these replacement when moving out.

  4. I’d test first… I spray toilet cleaner on some rolled up toilet paper (nice stuff) and gently, gently wipe the walls then flush! Or you could use a damp cloth with toilet cleaner and again, gently wipe. No scrubbing. Gentle circular motions seem to be ok. You could also use purpose made toilet cleaning wipes but I prefer not to flush such things despite them being advertised as flushable.
