1. Accounting for spoilers from last nights Burning Spirit at Kobe.

2. Thanks for these. As someone with tickets to both nights I’m a bit underwhelmed. I knew we weren’t getting anything like Okada vs Ospreay, but this is till pretty meh.

3. Michael Oku transitioning into New Japan will be awesome!

4. Not gonna lie, I’m pretty disappointed by all the RPW talent. I literally have no idea who half these people are.

5. I went to the first Royal Quest, I decided not to go to this one for a number of reasons, and to be honest there isn’t anything that is making me massively regret it. Maybe seeing Despy live is the main thing, tbh.

   It’s good to see Gabe Kidd back and I am sure the Osprey/Umino and ZSJ/Naito matches will both be bangers.

6. Compared to the first Royal Quest, feels like a let down although the first one felt particularly stacked for a NJPW show. Don’t regret not getting tickets for this one.

9. Weaker than expected. Given the FITE stream debacle for the first Royal Quest maybe they’re kind of testing the water again before fully investing in camera crew and whatnot. Both shows are gonna be fun though, and I’m very excited for the RPW guys. Aussie Open debuted in NJPW at Royal Quest and now they’re big stars so it’s possible that we’ll eventually see guys like RKJ and Oku in NJPW ring.

11. Night 2 looks way better than Night 1. It’s unfortunate that these shows are the equivalents of C level shows in Japan, but they should still be a lot of fun and really good.

12. Yeah night 1 looks meh, virtually the same house show match between LIJ and SZKG we’ve had on the recent tour, except worse without Taichi/Sanada shenanigans.

    Seems weird you don’t have one of the singles belts being defended for the heck of it. But guess this is what happens when you have shows in Japan uk and us in the same month.

13. I mean I definitely expect a bit more for the match cards but I get why they are how they are. It’s a two day show so they just do less singles matches per day.
    I still expect that those will be two good and fun shows.
    I just wish they would have given Ricky Knight Jr a singles match for his title, maybe against despy or someone and I would have liked if Shota vs Will was for the title as well.

14. both cards feel like a revpro card with special guests, for like double revpro prices. I personally think night 1 is better due to FTR Aussies, the women’s match being offset by 2 better women, and not having a Tito singles match, but it is what it is and my tickets are for night 2 lol

15. Got ringside tickets for both nights and pretty disappointed with the cards overall. Im sure there will be some great matches and good shows overall but was hoping for more singles title matches.
    I guess this is what happens when NJPW is doing 4 shows in 5 weeks.

16. As an NJPW fan and viewer first and foremost of the Japanese shows, these cards I have to say are a colossal letdown. As others have said, I’ve got no doubt it’ll be fun, but given how rarely we get shows over here I expect more than a fun night out, especially given the ticket prices indicated this was PPV level.

    I like Shota, but in the night 1 main event?! You bring hiromu all this way for two lower card tag matches?! Okada singles match at RQ1 was Vs Suzuki for the title, and this time we get BAD DUDE TITO third from the top?! 4 title matches at RQ1 but this time we get 1 across both days?!

    I love this company but in my opinion this event is a bit of a cash grab and has been falsely advertised.

17. It’s funny I looked at this card and thought „fun show“. Definitely better card than I would anticipated given the venue and schedule.

    And I look in the thread and everyone is shitting on it lol

18. Definitely to much rev pro for my liking! Very disappointed in the cards the amount of money I spent could have got me to WK this year but imma still go and try and enjoy it any meet ups going on?

19. I know nothing of Rev Pro, But a really good way to book a main event for one of these is “Big faces” of both company vs Big Heels of both company in a tag match. ROH never did this and it made me stop going to those ROH/NJPW shows. just a thought
