Hi everyone,
Myself and two friends are planning to head down to Japan later next month given the wonderful news that restrictions are being lifted! It is the first time for all of us to visit Japan, so we are certainly looking forward to enjoying everything that we can during our trip! We all enjoy gaming, anime, food, and Japanese culture, just to give you some insight into our interests.
My two friends will both be leaving on Nov 4th and 5th, whereas I will be staying until Nov 12th (little over 2 weeks). We have made an initial itinerary outlining the things we are looking to hit on each day they are there. I will be planning to both finish up on things we missed, and explore a few other things with the remainder of my time.
We would appreciate any feedback you can provide on this initial itinerary. And specifically, we have a few particular questions:
\- Are our days feasible given what we have planned? Is anything too busy?
\- We want to visit Lake Kawaguchiko via Tokyo (to get a good view of Mt. Fuji), but we have not assigned it to a day yet. Is it possible to fit into a day with anything else? If not, what should we eliminate to make room for it?
\- Is there anything that we are missing that as first-time visitors we should definitely do/visit?

Kawaguchiko is 2h away from Tokyo, so it’s getting hard to include it in one of your day when it’s 4h just in transportation. I would just dedicate a day for it.
Nov 4, that is a good 2 day itinerary if you ask me. As you seems to have spare days, then use one of those for Kyoto and add a day for Kawaguchiko. You can also add daytrips like Nara, Kamakura… there is a lot of options.
If you have international drivers license your coming in autumn… Get away from the mainstays and catch some color.
