Hi all. Visiting Okinawa in mid October and want to accomplish 2 things: stargazing and snorkeling.
Based on my research, the best stargazing spot is around Cape Higashi Hennazaki. For snorkeling, Aragukusu beach and Wai Wai beach in the morning have the highest chance of seeing sea turtles and Yabiji beach is best for overall snorkeling experience.
What are your thoughts on the above? I assume there are many rental shops around the beach for snorkeling and other activities. Any other recommendations in Miyakojima? Only planning to stay for 2 nights.

Maybe I’m just ignorant, but yeah, when I went to Miyako five years ago with a few others, there was pretty much nothing to do if you weren’t into beaches.
