Animelon alternatives?

I saw this thread posted 4 years ago and I’m curious if there’s any other video player that shows jp-en dictionaries just by hovering your cursor over the subs? Being able to watch any media I want offline would be convenient, especially to enjoy the best possible quality of the visuals too. My problem with the Voracious video player is that it seems to lack many basic functions like swapping audio/subtitle tracks on the fly or even adjusting the timing of the subs (which is weird to be honest), so is there any alternatives with a similar objective?
