I’ve recently managed to convince Spotify to start recommending me podcasts for Japanese speakers rather than Japanese language learners, and this week it suggested one from the lifestyle magazine [Brutus](https://brutus.jp/) \- 週末の酒がうまい、BRUTUSの聞くレシピ. First episode [here](https://brutus.jp/weekend_cooking01/) and subsequent ones [here](https://brutus.jp/tag/podcast/) as well as on Spotify etc. The episodes are 20-30 minutes long, and feature the host and a guest chef cooking and eating a dish paired with a drink. They speak very clearly and slowly (about half the speed of a JLPT listening test lol). I’d really recommend them to anyone who is interesting in cooking and looking for listening practice. The nature of the podcast means that even if you lose the thread of what they’re talking about, it’s easy to pick it up again a minute or two later, and the comparatively short duration (for a podcast aimed at native speakers) makes it easy to focus for the length of the episode. The website also has the recipe written out so you can make it afterwards!

Nice
Thanks, how did you get spotify to recommend them?
