I’m looking specifically for something like this in Tokyo and would like to send a guitar and have it stored for around two months. I found some services like Quraz but they require you to do it in person and you can’t do it with a passport, only with a residence card.
Is there a service like this available for foreigners that are not in the country yet? I will be moving in December with a working holiday visa.

Major moving companies have storages in your country if they operate there. You can ask them to keep your stuffs in the storage in your country and tell them to ship after you settle in Japan.
