The stupidest thing here is probably the logistics of going from Tokyo to Kinosaki Onsen…

* Few days before: Submit my vaccination card via MySOS
* Nov 13: Fly into Narita
* Nov 14: Meet up w/friends during the afternoon, later at night board the Sunrise Seto/Izumo
* I know what it takes to get a room on the Sunrise and someone who lives in Japan is gonna help me with it
* Nov 15: Get off the Izumo in Himeji at 5:30am, crash at a capsule hotel near the station, check out the castle and Koko-en before going to Kinosaki Onsen on the 1:20pm Hamakaze, check in to the inn after 3pm, chill, go visit some hot springs, eat crab
* Nov 16: Hot springs and crab continued
* Nov 17: Kinosaki -> Amanohashidate -> Kyoto. Might skip Amanohashidate and just go to Kyoto.
* Nov 18-19:
* One day for autumn-y leaf viewing. I’m thinking Kiyomizudera during the day time since the renovations are finished, ??? do things ???, wind up at Murin-an later in the afternoon for tea and garden viewing (reservation), then be at Eikan-do for foliage night illumination
* One day for who knows what idk
* Nov 20-23:
* Moving over to stay in Osaka cause that seems simpler than commuting to Osaka every day from Kyoto and staying near Shin-Osaka station or something would surely serve my tourist-y purposes better
* One day for Kobe with visits to Nunobiki Herb Garden and Soraku-en; has to be 20th or 23rd cause I really wanna ride the Hello Kitty train
* One day for USJ… per the crowd estimator, Tues or Wed would be best day to go
* One half day to walk to Minoh Park for some red leaf viewing
* 1.5 days left open… I’ve never been to Osaka so I’ll want to check out the area around Umeda and Dotonbori too
* Nov 24: 2.5hr train back to Tokyo but really thinkin’ of stopping in Nagoya on the way back because there’s nothing quite as serotonin-inducing as the words “Waddle Dee Town Afternoon Tea at the Nagoya Kirby Cafe”
* Nov 25: Open
* Nov 26: Flight out of Narita
