  1. Speak plainly man! We cannot possibly offer you advice without knowing what “services” you offer!
I mean, you could be an exorcist, a plumber, a private groomer, a tea maid, or a hot air balloon cleaner.

  2. I find it hard to offer small business owners a service if your Japanese is not good enough…

  3. What service? To what kind of businesses? How do you think you will handle billing/day to day operation without speaking the language much?

  4. Turn this situation around.

You’re a business owner and a foreign guy who doesn’t speak your language, who you’ve never seen before and who you’ve never had any direct contact with previously arrives at your business with his interpreter friend to offer you his services.

Unless you’re able to conjure up something truly magical then this isn’t the most stellar of starting positions for a business proposal.
