Netflix troubles

Ever since I moved I haven’t been able to use my Netflix account without a VPN I’ve tried every solution I could find but none seem to work it doesn’t let me log in saying my password is incorrect and when I do log in if I turn off my VPN i cant play any videos, did anyone else run into this issue when moving? I can keep using a VPN but i feel like i shouldn’t have to

  1. I’ve been a Netflix subscriber for a long time and I’ve never had that problem. You should contact Netflix support. It may have something to do with your IP address when you aren’t using a VPN.

  2. Netflix is “region locked” due to licensing agreements and such for different countries. You will need to use your VPN to access your current Netflix account or create a new one within Japan. Keep in mind the catalogues of videos between regions is vastly different.
