Recently I took up employment at a company and currently I am under ‘Probation’ for a period of 3 months. After this initial probation period they may extend the probation period by another 3 months or change my status to a ‘Permanent Employee.’
Currently I have an offer from a different company which I like and there seems to be a communication issue (No collaboration and not ready to listen to my suggestions/inputs and borderline disrespectful) with my current team, which is making me feel I should consider the offer.
I am planning to resign but am very worried about doing it at this stage.
1. Will my current company give Experience Letter/Resignation Letter if I resign during probation period?
2. Will there be any repercussions due to this move with my current company or future company?
3. Immigration will ask me for any explanation for changing jobs this soon?
4. Taxes and social welfare will be impacted due to this early change between employers? (I am planning to pay without any delay though)
5. Does this look bad on my resume?
I am concerned that I am thinking of continuing with the current employer but it feels like it is not worth staying. Please suggest and tell me if I missed anything that I should be more worried about?
Thanks in advance!

If you have plausible evidence the other will be better, pull the trigger. And I wouldn’t even bother listing them on my experience or asking them for letters given the short time you’ve been with them. You were just enjoying Japan during this time right? You can handle the rest later. Immigration: just depends on the terms of your visa.
1. What? Why do you even need those?
2. No.
3. No.
4. Nah.
5. Nah. It’s how you spin it in the future.
Probation period is also a time for you to see if it’s the right fit.
Just resign. It’s not difficult.
1. They should
2. So long as your new company knows that you are leaving within the probation period then no problems.
3. In all probability no.
4. No, the documentation for quitting and joining a new company should take care of that.
5. It might not look good to have worked at a place for such a short time, but you can try to explain it to future employers.
1. Resignation letter: Yes, Experience/ Reference letter: no
2. no
3. Don’t put it on your resume.
