katakana translation for name…

So I’m getting my kyokushin karate dogi embroidered with my name in katakana. However, I’ve seen online a few different ways to do it so I’m wondering which way is best? Name is:

Jordan Furr

The most common way Ive seen it is:

ジョーダン フル

I realize I’ve revealed my first and last name on reddit haha but that’s ok — I’ve got open social media accounts and a youtube channel so it’s no secret.

  1. I just searched for Michael Jordan and got マイケル・ジョーダン, which brings up the concern that you might want to use a ・ instead of a space, depending on how it will look. Having no separator would probably be okay since ジョーダン ends in an ン at least. Other random names use ・ by the way. Not sure what name to search to address Furr though. Maybe Ferguson (ファーガソン), which would imply ファー?
