They’re 2017 trilogy was awesome. Sort of gets overlooked as the okada/omega trilogy happened at the exact same time

For my money, their match in the G1 Climax 27 is the match of the tournament
G1 aside, their Dominion 6.11 match is legendary.
I saw the G1 30 and it was awesome 32 was ok but 30 was something special
Could watch this match 50 times over. Every time Naito faces Okada, he seems to want to prove himself in the now. When he faces Tanahashi, he seems to be reaching back into his history from the very beginning to justify his path against The Ace. The senpai, apprentice relationship is strong here. The football captain versus the guy the coach doesn’t play as much but knows is the best.
