So far their support has been awful, and many of my purchases have been being blocked for no reason and I have to call them everytime to unblock them.
Lately, it has gotten worse and the usual number can’t even reach them:

I don’t know what’s the deal, but it simply cuts me off after some time. I was able to reach the menu where they gave multiple choices, but press “0#” and I am cut off quickly afterwards.

Where are you trying to purchase from? Are you anywhere near your limit?
They do have online chat support, but they tend not to be able to deal with issues with purchases.
I had to call them for the first time this week as I had a ¥300,000 plus flight ticket purchase but got through within a minute.
That was with the premium card number though- maybe try that and feign ignorance if you have the standard one?
They have pretty bad customer service in my experience (in any language).
I’ve had different experience. SMBC blocks my card whenever I order uber eats at weird times while Rakuten never blocked anything and even raised my limit when I got close to maxing it out.
