A bit of a question :)

Good evening, everyone. I hope you’re doing well, during these trying times.

I recently recalled a word I’d heard in Japanese but can’t remember where or when.

I’m not sure what it means so, if I could get a little feedback, that would be great!

I think it’s something along the lines of “Riyō sareta”

  1. 利用する(りようする) to use

    利用される(りようされる) to be used

    利用された(りようされた) was used

  2. given that the answer is actually literally the thing that you wrote, i have to check: you do actually have a dictionary and are using it, right? too many beginner folks here seem to think deepl is the end-all-be-all or something and don’t bother even finding dictionaries or sentence example sites or anything.
