Hi there
My gf and I are staying at a ryokan in Kyoto through the morning of Thurs Nov 24, and we need to get to Hakone by 5pm on Saturday Nov 26 — we are trying to figure out the best way to utilize those 2.5 days!
Here are tentative thoughts so far, but would love ideas on how to better sequence this — we don’t mind getting up early and packing the itinerary, but we do want to keep things realistic and avoid towing our bags around too much if possible.

**Does the following sound reasonable or is there a better way to arrange things?**

**Thurs Nov 24 (this feels doable – but am worried about taking luggage everywhere)**
8am – breakfast at hotel in Kyoto
9am – depart to Himeji
11-1 Himeji
Transit to Miyajima, perhaps with lunch enroute in Hiroshima or elsewhere
Sightseeing in Miyajima
Dinner & spend the night at ryokan in Miyajima
**Fri Nov 25 (same concern – we will have luggage)**
Breakfast in Miyajima
Transit to Hiroshima
Peace Park, Castle, etc.
Transit to Osaka
Check in to hotel in Osaka
Food stalls on Dotonburi Street for dinner
**Saturday**
Breakfast in Osaka
Head to Hakone

Ship your large luggage either to the hotel in Osaka or straight to the Ryokan in Hakone. Then just travel with a small overnight bag until you pick up your luggage.
