My wife and I are looking to cycle the Shimanami Kaido in April next year.
I feel I’ve mapped out and understand the journey fairly well.
We’re keen to rent E-Bikes and thanks to u/birdie63, I was able to find [Wakka](https://wakka.site/en/) and their rental bike return service. That way we can take a one way trip and still return the bikes.
I would love some general feedback but my major outstanding question is…
1. How do we get our luggage from Onomichi > Imabari?
1. Or even all the way to Matsuyama?
1. And can they hold it for a day?
I know that the Japan guide talks about these services but doesn’t point to any page detailing specific parties involved

**Day 1**
* Osaka to Onomichi [1:20 Train Ride]
* Drop luggage off ??????
* Rent E-Bike for 2 days from Better or Red
* Cycle to Ōmishima Island [3:00 cycle]
* Stay at Wakka.
**Day 2**
* Cycle to Sakariko Ferry terminal [0:15 cycle]
* Ferry to Ōkunoshima (Rabbit Island) [0:15 boat]
* Look around Ōkunoshima (Rabbit Island) [2:00 foot/cycle]
* Ferry to Sakariko Ferry terminal [0:15 boat]
* Cycle to Imabari [3:00 cycle]
* Call Wakka to pick up bikes and return them to Onomichi
* Pick up luggage from ????
* Train to Matsuyama [0:30 train]
* Stay in Matsuyama
**Day 3**
* Ferry to Hiroshima [1:10 boat]
