While nothing could touch Naito/Ospreay for MOTN (MOTY?), FTR v. Cobb/O-Khan was terrific: big match feel, pitch-perfect psychology. The reverence FTR hold for the IWGP belts and finally getting to perform in front of Japanese fans was palpable, and the fans in attendance responded in kind.

Doubt it. Bryan only wants to wrestle with crowd noise.
AEW is also running in Seattle the same day as WK.
WK is only one day this year, so there’s not going to be a lot of time to play around with. All indications are saying that we’ll have Ospreay vs Omega and FTR vs the winner of WTL. I think that would be the extent of AEW’s participation in WK. It’s possible that we’ll see Danielson in next year’s G1 though.
A lot of people’s hope is that there will be crowd noise at WK this year. With it being 1 night, it almost feels like we might get a large crowd too. 🤞🏻
