Hi everyone. I’m a self-studying beginner and have just learned Hiragana & Katakana. I want to begin working with an instructor, but first, I want to ask you guys when is the right time to do so?
Are there more basics I should do by myself?

What are your goals?
I’m sure there will be lots of people that will say immediately. But for me personally as I’m in the same boat I’m going to finish half my Genki book then start doing italki to help reinforce the material I’ve learned and will learn forward.
