What was something that made you go “Damn, I should’ve known how to read that!”

Don’t be embarassed, it happens to natives as well; for me it was reading 気持 as きじ for a split second 🙂

  1. Oh I thought you meant full sentences. I’m just like “So much… every day it’s something… ugh…”

    But in regards to this, one day I read 動物, a word I know well, and asked myself aloud “What the hell is a どうもの ?”
