I know it’s not about how good they actually are, but… they don’t even look good to me tbh. Way too pale.
That’s so 1980s Japan. Abenomics is finally paying off, let’s celebrate with chocolate garnished with gold leaf and a cup of coffee made from a bean that’s been pooped out by a civet.
Ridiculous. I wonder why it’s not even more expensive. Japanese billionaires are getting stingy?

Japan treats fruit how 14 year old white boys treat pictures of bored apes.
> The prizewinning cherries went on sale at a department store in Tokyo after the auction.
How much do you want to bet the department store paid the high price or at least bid up the auction?
News like this is free advertising for their store.
Is this with the exchange rate of 135 yen to USD?
What do you expect when your currency is devalued 35%?
Rich people wanks seem to be a global phenomenon.
Never a fan of these ridiculous auctions. Every year everyone gets so excited about how much their watermelons or melons or whatever sold for. They aren’t worth that much. It’s just advertising.
Fruit is no joke in Japan. $1,200 USD Cantaloupes, $200 watermelons, etc.
