Group of 3 first-time Japan travelers coming late November. Looking for feedback on if days are too full or travel suggestions for getting around.
**Day 1:** Arrive NRT 230pm. Travel to hotel in Shinjuku. Walk through Shinjuku Gyoen Garden. Tocho Observation Deck. Omoide Yokocho.
**Day 2**: Meiji Jingu. Shibuya Crossing. Transit to Tokyo National Museum. Senso-ji. Golden Gai.
**Day 3:** *Opt A:* Day trip to Hakone. *Opt B:* Check out of hotel and head to Hakone. Hakone loop (clockwise) and onsen/ryokan in Gora (open to other ways to break up the loop).
**Day 4:** Shinkansen to Kyoto from either Tokyo (Opt A) or Odawara (Opt B). Southern Higashiyama and Fushimi-Inari.
**Day 5:** Day in Kyoto. Arashiyama.
**Day 6:** Shinkansen back to Tokyo. Stay near Tokyo Station. Explore Akihabara. See SkyTree.
**Day 7:** Imperial Palace area. Ramen Street. Maybe teamLab planets.
**Day 8:** Head to NRT by 1130am for 230pm flight.
Perhaps Day 2 afternoon should be a Day 7 idea instead? Thanks!

The Garden closes at 5:30pm. You may not get there in time.
Also when you get back to Tokyo after Kyoto, stay in a hotel near Ueno station.
