What to do as a tourist if you get COVID or have a fever

Hi!
Just wondering what the course of action is if one gets COVID while traveling. My understanding is that hotels and such do temperature tests. What happens if one gets sick and is turned away? Where does one go, and how does one arrange it?
(Assuming you aren’t so sick that you head to the hospital).
