Getting some R&R in Ise City, so the shortest route from flying in would be to use the ferry.
I read some time ago that I may need to pay the ferry ticket in advance, but I don’t know where? I really do want to just pay at the airport since I’ll be there for an hour anyway after landing.

Reservations are recommended, but not required, it seems.
It’s recommended you reserve a ticket online, but either way you pay for the ticket in person.
When you leave the airport it’s a straight shot across the building down to the docks. There’s a small office to the right where you pay for the tickets and wait for the ferry. When you get to Tsu there’s a bus that can take you to Tsu station.
