I am currently working at an Eikaiwa and am enjoying it. I entered the country on long term stay visa (1 year) at the end of June. So my residence card says this date I entered, but says the same date in 2023 is when the visa expires.
Ideally, I would love to do a month or two WWOOFing at some point.
What’s the procedure with my visa and changing my purpose of stay?
\- Do I need to extend the visa if I want more time? Or do I have to leave the country by that date?
\- Is there any issues with the fact I would be going from teaching to volunteering?
