I can say what I need to say and understand what I need to understand grammar wise, but my vocab is super lacking
I use Torii.
**Reviewing Vocab:** 11%
**Learning New Words:** 1%
**Favourite Tools:** Anki, Yomichan with monolingual dictionaries, mpv (with auto-copy subs script), Anacreon’s text hooker page, Textractor
I’m definitely not the type to have a precise idea of my daily study time as I get input throughout the day, but I’d say vocab is probably 25-33% of my « active » study, mostly through srs (I use the Nihongo app with flashcards lists made from video games as well as Quartet and Tobira, + Satori Reader and WaniKani).
Depends on what you mean. If you mean strictly “going out of my way to learn new stuff and review old stuff, then 90%. If you include content consumption and natural interactions with the language, then vocab study would be down to about 10%.
