Anki i+1 + frequency list

So, I had a thought. These i+1 Anki decks (such as TANGO N5,N4) are pretty fire. You only are showed one (sometimes two) new words at a time. The problem (if it may be called that) is that they focus on N5 concepts, so we get a lot of vocab for school (with a splash of vocab for the post office or hospital). We aren’t seeing the most commonly used words here, but we are probably getting a useful base for doing a homestay program in Japan.

On the other hand, we have decks based on frequency lists (such as 2k or 6k) that feed us the most common words… but you don’t get that nice i+1 sentence format. It will throw anything at you.

So you know where this is going. Combine the two ideas. Have a frequency list based deck that gives you new cards in the juicy i+1 format.

Does this deck already exist? Like, there’s no way I’m the first to think of it, right?
