Probably a lot of the NHK stuff would be good, like Nihongo de Asobo. Pretty sure you can watch it on the overseas NHK world channels too https://nhkworldpremium.com/program/40
I used to watch a lot of japanese Miffy on youtube. You can find it just by searching it. Same goes for a lot of kids shows like that.
Shimajirou no wow is quite similar to sesame street. It’s a mix of animated stories, educational skits, and live action content, like exploring the daily life of a farmer, baker or a fisherman kind of thing.
There’s a 24/7 stream of Peppa Pig in Japanese. Not that many episodes, though.
Inai nai baa was our go to when my kids were toddlers.
I’m watching some of that with my gf for fun. If you happened to have Netflix, there are some of that. I found some that I grew up with: Shimajiro and Nontan, and there were more like Inai-Inai-Baa (seems very popular with toddlers today) and Hello Kitty. She told me that Hello Kitty was particularly on easier side. Although, it doesn’t teach you about letters but more for daily moral routines like “Apologize when you make mistake”. She picked up a few daily vocab that her JLPT materials didn’t cover, so I think it has some use!
In general, like the top comment says, most of those shows that caters for regular Japanese kids are made by NHK, but those materials may not be easy to reach.
