I’m 6’ 5” and the supplied slippers for indoor wear at accommodation etc never fit me.
On previous trips I’ve just muddled through and limped around indoors with my feet impossibly pinched into the plastic slippers.
If I were to take something that fitted, what options are appropriate here? I don’t want to appear like i am wearing my outdoor shoes inside but at the same time it would be nice to be comfortable while padding around indoors.

You don’t have to wear them if they don’t fit. Just wear your socks and you’ll be fine.

if you take something that is soft and clean, you should be fine. if you dont soil the floor, nor scratch it, it is unlikely that anyone would give you any trouble. since i easily catch a cold if walking around in socks, and this is not the best time to catch a cold, i am planning to take some indoor slippers with me, like the cheap ikea ones.
