I was wondering about this:

For some context, in the book I’m reading, a sailor said this after he realizes that most of the rest of the crew are the henchmen of a gangster, and they all beat him up.
I was wondering what the ending りゃなあ means. なあ is like…thinking to yourself? The rest of this is like, “However, I wish that I’d realized this a bit earlier…”
Hi I was wondering about this:
> 船は嵐のど真ん中へ突っ込んでいくんだからな。
For context, this is what a ship captain says. The weather has been changing into a storm. I think this means “(Because) The ship is plunging into the middle of a storm.”
But I was wondering what is ので doing there? I only know it as なので which means “so” or as 喉[ので] for “throat”
There are two readings I’m finding for 平地、へいち and ひらち. Which is the more common usage?
In particular, if you know, in Magic the Gathering for Plains land type.
