Made a Poke Bowl, what do you guys think?

  1. Theres a lot more tuna than it looks like in the pic since the tuna runs down deep.

    ingredients:

    * sushi rice

    * wasabi

    * edamame

    * radish (softened in salt/sugar water)

    * avocado

    * shiso leaf

    * tempura crisp

    * salmon roe

    * spring onion

    * Tobiko

    * pickled ginger

    * seasoned Tuna

    * eel sauce

    * spicy mayo

    * soysauce

  2. I wish I were able to source most of those ingredients locally

    But I’d have trouble finding them at all here

  3. Do you have any tips for the general preparation or sauces. I’ve tried in the past to make them but they just never turn out right. I’ve tried different proteins, many toppings, and mostly stick to a spicy mayo/sweet chili sauce combo. I don’t know if there’s something I’m doing wrong with the rice, toppings, amount of sauce, types of sauce, etc.

  4. I hate salmon roe, I find the taste vile but it’s super cheap so i got that the first time. It looks so good though

    Won’t make that mistake again!

  5. I hate poke bowls and that’s long-grain rice *claws eyes out* but you had me at ikura.
