So Im reading through Kyoto University Guidelines for 2023 Enrollment and on page 4 on [https://www.iup.kyoto-u.ac.jp/docs/Application%20Guidelines%20for%20October%202023%20Enrollment.pdf](https://www.iup.kyoto-u.ac.jp/docs/Application%20Guidelines%20for%20October%202023%20Enrollment.pdf) 2a says that I need 12 years of primary to secondary education. I dropped out and got my GED but From what im reading, my GED wont help me here. And I dont think it qualifies under 2e either. If I get my diploma will this count towards the requirements of 2a or do I need to go back and do every year of secondary school that I missed. Sorry that this is a really specific post. I couldn’t find anything from google but this subreddit.

Have you tried contacting the school?
Although you’ll need to write more clearly and coherently. This post would be hard for many Japanese English speakers.
Why do you think you don’t qualify for 2e? I think 2e is for people like you who might be eligible even if you don’t fall under 2a-2d and need an individual check by the office.
