Building my first PC and have been looking around for 3080s and while new prices have dropped to around 120,000 new, I’m also starting to see some pop up on Mercari for around 90,000 or less.
Just curious if anyone has experience buying cards on Mercari, or any pointers buying used.
Also do people think the November drop for 4080s will cause 3080s drop in price? Though I guess this probably won’t happen for a while until people can get their hands on 4000 series

I bought a 1060 on Mercari and still use it till this day. The seller had a 5-star rating, was the original owner, claimed the card wasn’t used for mining, and still worked before I purchased it. The other items on their store were PC parts as well.
I haven’t had any issues buying electronics on Mercari, from reputable sellers. But, I’m sure there a many people who have had issues.
Lots of ex mining cards at good prices on Mercari. As long as you know what your getting into. No warranty, no return, and no support is what you should expect. There is risk involved but price can’t be beat.
