3×4 keyboard or Qwerty?

  1. JKeyboard on mobile, qwerty with the Japanese keyboard setting on windows with pc

  2. 日本語ローマ字 in iOS, which is QWERTY

That’s what it says on the spacebar when I switch to it. I’d never even noticed it before.

  3. Romanized input, but no with a qwerty layout, and I enter <ん> with <l> and <っ> with <q> rather than context-sensitive input and otherwise use 日本式. I also enter <てぃ> with <þi> and <でぃ> with <ði> because I saw no reason not to as my layout already easily supported it.

  4. 10-key flick on mobile, Windows IME kana layout on PC keyboard. Not sure what the correct name of it is, but the qwerty keys map to たていすかん, asdf keys map to ちとしは, etc., if that makes sense. I don’t have hiragana sublegends on my keycaps, so I’m forced to use touch typing.

  5. Trying to learn the hiragana keyboard but it’s frustrating sometimes. I use QWERTY mainly.

  6. The romaji one because i know god damn well im not gonna remember all the hiragana/katakana/kanji also i don’t know much japanese just hiragana, katakana and tiny little sentences like “おげんきですか?” Or “おはよ” and some words because im an anime fan ofc

  7. DACA pdp a personal favorite and none of you can convince me otherwise

  8. 12-key flick input on phone because it’s so intuitive.

With the exception of the わをん key, the directions are consistent for all the vowel sounds.
