It’s very much a more advanced dictionary for translators, and has lots of sample sentences which is super helpful. The only thing is that it searches only for exact text. So if you look up とる for example, it will not return results for 取る.
It also used to have some of the most batshit random example sentences back in the day, tho sadly they seem to have cleaned up most of the more eccentric entries 😜
https://dictionary.goo.ne.jp/jn/ If you already have a Japanese level of JLPT N3 or above, it seems this dictionary used by local Japanese is magic and definitely worth a try. Compared to other Japanese-English online dictionaries I have used, it has a more comprehensive explanation of words. Each word is attached by its idiomatic usage and fixed collocations(if any). What is most helpful for meddle and advanced Japanese learners is that all the word interpretations are in Japanese, which allows you to build up your habit of thinking in Japanese easily.

I’ll second the vote for Eijirō.
I also make use of Weblio’s E⇄J version at https://ejje.weblio.jp
Linguee can be useful as well, especially for the context it provides from real-world documents: https://www.linguee.com/english-japanese
