I need the soles of my hiking boots replaced, and none of the outdoor shops seem able to help.
Back in the UK boots have had 3 re-soles before needing replacement, and it was a straightforward and relatively quick job each time; but all I’m getting is blank looks from the big shops
That seems strange since many of the staff are clearly knowledgable and often unusually forthcoming with their own personal opinions. It’s as though re-soles aren’t a thing anymore, or at least not in Japan.
Any hikers out there with recommendations from personal experience, please?
