Educational English game for Nintendo switch

It’s an odd post but thought i’d throw it out to my fellow teachers.I am making a free Nintendo Switch study game for my students (and all of Japan.) I am about a month away from releasing for kids (I hope) but I am crowdsourcing translations and playtesting before doing a big release campaign (again, free). If you want to check it out and see if it is something you want to let your own students know about when it’s finished, great. If you want to help translate or playtest, even better. I’ll post the feedback links at the bottom if you want to help, but if you just wanna peek/play and see what it’s about first, here’s how. 1) open eShop on switch with a US account. (Must) 2) search RPG maker player and download that (free one not paid stuff) 3) open up the software and go to search maker forum and switch to Japanese search tab. Game is labeled カナ英語教室. 4) go make a sandwich while that bad boy downloads. Hope you enjoy it almost as much as I am enjoying making it. The study levels are Pre-A all the way to Eiken 2, then I decided to put lots of questions about prefixes and suffixes, since that is something Japanese rarely study but I think very useful for high-level achievers.

  1. I’m interested but I want to know what kind of game it is exactly before I bother downloading it.

Is it a flashcard system thinly disguised as a game like [Hiragana Battle](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nN_MVFbFtVU)? Or is it an actual RPG that progressively introduces new words and increases the vocabulary bank the game uses, making it a valuable source of comprehensible input?

  2. I’ll download and check this out when I finish moving (most of my stuff is packed up now). I’ve been interested in doing something like this myself (used to be a dev).
