2. I was probably not alive around this time, but now that I’m in japan most people now are actually more conservative, and seeing this kind of cool fashion is rare…(I live in the heart of tokyo so i see the most fashionable people on the daily). 懐かしい時代.

4. At that time, everyone smoked cigarettes in Japan, everyone smoked while working, smoked on the train, smoked even on the plane. My father said most students smoked when he was in secondary school. Showa Jidai was a truly free period.

10. I know what late 80’s Japan was like thank you, I’ve played Yakuza 0

12. Cigarettes, beer, sake, whisky were all available in vending machines back then and none of the machines had any way to verify age. I bought all that stuff as teen from ’81 – ’85 and the girl with the big hair looks like some of the young ladies I hung out with. Very nostalgic pic. Those were GREAT times.
