I did very recently. It took some time, maybe a month or so due to I think their own warehouse/stock being out and having to get things shipped to them to then ship to me, and one manga that is potentially out of print was cancelled in my order, but that aside I didn’t have what I would call issues
Take this with a grain of salt because I live in a city with one.
I’ve had no issues ordering from them. I usually do in-store pickup. And my things usually show up in less than a week
I’ve also had luck ordering from Amazon Japan, because I live in Seattle it is pretty much dead even on import fees from amazon.jp and kino’s American site
You do have to have an Amazon.jp account to order from there though but that’s easy enough
I haven’t ordered manga but ordered about 20 books from them this year, and have had no issues. Quality was always perfect and they arrived in 2-3 weeks. It was a good deal in the US because of free shipping.
I also have had no issues with them. One book took an appropriate amount of time to procure because the fulfillment center was out of stock. I wouldn’t worry much. I imagine there would be issues if it’s out of print and hard to obtain. They’re probably skimming the bottom of the barrel there.
I did once, but I can’t remember my experience.
Of these orders are from the past few years (2019-2022), they may be related to various shipping and supply chain issues which popped up during the pandemic.
Still, a rare book (or new books or very popular books) might need to be shipped from Japan, which would result in longer shipping time.
Can’t speak to cancelled orders.
